Made these for college grads from IU (titled Hoosier girl) and Purdue (titled Boiler Up) based on Aneela Hoey's tutorial girl on a tree swing mini quilt tutorial!!!. Incorporated some of their dad's old shirts into the design. I am so proud of both of them. One an engineer off to a job. One a biologist off to grad school at Wisconsin. Great going ladies.
Hoosier Girl
I was able to use my embroidery machine to personalize each mini quilt. They both love music and were in the marching band during college. Yeah!

ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely comment! When I get back to my 'normal' program, I would be very happy to make a small tutorial, how I made animals for Nero's quilt.
Have a lovely time!
